Kitchen Makeover with Paint @ Magnolia Mommy Made

She painted her honey oak cabinets with Annie Sloan chalk paint in French Linen and her walls with Valspar in Soft Sunlight (eggshell). The trim was painted with Behr Premium Plus Interior Semi-gloss in Ultra White. The back of the cabinets got painted with Valspar chalkboard paint, and door knobs got a makeover with Rust-oleum oil rubbed bronze spray paint.  Such a beautiful transformation!

Mustard Yellow Desk

Susan @ Sunflower Hugs submitted her lovely mustard yellow desk.

She painted the desk with homemade chalk paint in 2 colors of Behr paints to achieve the mustard yellow color. She stained the top with Minwax dark walnut and covered the entire desk with Annie Sloan dark wax diluted with paint thinner to create a glaze. So pretty!

Yellow, Pink and Blue Cuties

She painted these cuties for a client.  She got an old dresser and bookshelf at a yard sale. She chalkpainted them, distressed them and coated them with AS clear wax. Super cute!

Herringbone Wall

Golden Flame Table

She found this table on craigslist for only $10. She mixed her own chalkpaint using Valspar’s Golden Flame. Then she glazed it with a black paint glaze, wiping away the excess and then she waxed it.

Gold Abundance Telephone Chair

She painted this cool, vintage telephone chair and applied an antique glaze over it. She used Zinsser Bulls Eye spray paint for the primer, Valspar spray paint in Gold Abundance and Valspar Antiquing Glaze.  I just love telephone chairs.

Buttery and How to Spray Paint

She took this beautiful antique maple dresser with harp mirror and used a homemade chalk paint (from a behr sample pot) and painted it such a lovely color.  She added custom mother of pearl knobs and lined the drawers. Gorgeous!

Dresser Day

She used Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Old White and Annie Sloan dark wax and some painter’s tape to make the stripe.

Sunday @ A Sunday Afternoon submitted her creamy yellow dresser.

She stained the top of this thrift store dresser.  Then she spray painted the dresser with Rustoleum Blossom White and the drawers with Rustoleum Strawflower. She added a french graphic (from Graphics Fairy) and distressed the entire piece. Love the look!

She took a beat up old round drop leaf table that had seen better days before coming to her house! With some Sherwin Williams paints thinned with water, some craft paint and brushes she created her dream table!
