Duck Egg Hutch

Lisa @ {Create Inspire} submitted her beautiful blue hutch.

She painted the body of the hutch with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg and painted the inside a custom mix of white (Sherwin Williams-ProClassic). She distressed it with a wet rag and finished with Minwax finishing paste.

Kitchen Scale Hutch

Quarter Clock and Snowbound

Dee @ My Painted Stuff submitted her unique 1/4 clock face table.

She transformed a roadside treasure into a work of art. She used DIY chalk paint on this corner table & painted a 1/4 hour clock face with words on it. Love how unique this is.

Eliesa @ Pinterest Addict submitted her gorgeous hutch!

She updated a china cabinet with Sherwin Williams oil paints in Snowbound and Indigo Batik and she used Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze (ORB) on the handles and hinges. Love the color combo.

Oatmeal and Powdered Snow

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Today I’ve got two great paint projects from Talia @ Relove.

She found this buffet on Craigslist. She sanded and used a liquid deglosser to prep. She painted on one coat of Kilz primer, two coats of Behr Oatmeal Porridge, and one coat of Ralph Lauren Glaze in Tobacco.

This hutch/dresser was sanded down then primed with one coat of Kilz. Then she painted on two coats of Behr Powdered Snow. She distressed the edges and detail and then painted on one coat of Ralph Lauren Glaze in Tea-Stained. Then she added new knobs and lined the drawers with modge podge and scrapbook paper.

Going White and Goose Gray

Liz @ Naptime Decorator submitted her gorgeous dining room transformation.

She painted her black china cabinet blue, using homemade blue chalk paint, and her buffet table using homemade white chalk paint.

Emily @ Paisley and Porter submitted her mirror makeover.

She used a DIY chalk paint recipe to redesign her outdated mirror. It is painted with Olympic’s Gray Goose and hand distressed to let some of the original gold finish peek through.

Aqua Hutch and Plate Painting

Sunday @ A Sunday Afternoon submitted her beautiful aqua hutch.

She found this hutch for $25 on Craigslist! She used Dutch Boy White Oak and a Glidden mis-tint from Wal-Mart for the Aqua. She used a DIY chalk paint recipe in both paints. Then she distressed it and used a black glaze with a wax to protect it.

Kelley @ Eclectically Vintage submitted her painted plate.

She used a glass paint marker to create a custom DIY music lyric plate with her hubs favorite – Springsteen “Born to Run” lyrics written around the edge of the plate.
