Birch Stenciled Dresser

She took an old beat up dresser and created chalk paint with Behr paints and plaster of paris.  Then she added a birch stencil.

Cracked Pepper Sideboard

She painted this in chalk paint using Behr’s Cracked Pepper and white unsanded grout. After sanding and distressing, she finished it off with two coats of wax and buffed away. Such a lovely piece.

She found this beaten up buffet at a thrift store for only $3! – She gave it 2 coats of Behr paint plus primer in white and then topped it with Benjamin Moore’s Marlboro Blue.  So pretty!

French Buffet

She transformed this vintage buffet by using ProClassic satin from Sherwin Williams color matched to ASCP French Linen on the body of the piece and ProClassic satin from Sherwin Williams color matched to Cotton Whisper by Behr on the drawer fronts. She heavily distressed the piece using a paint scraper and then using Minwax stain in Early American over the paint to age the piece. The stencil for the french poem is by Royal Design Studio.

Crushed Velvet Buffet

She took a peeling buffet and transformed it.   She used Zinsser Bulls Eye Water-Base Primer & Sealer and for the paint she used Crushed Velvet in flat finish by Olympic at Lowe’s.  For the hardware she sprayed them with flat black then finished with Valspar silver spray paint.  Such a stunning piece.

Oatmeal and Powdered Snow

Today I’ve got two great paint projects from Talia @ Relove.

She found this buffet on Craigslist. She sanded and used a liquid deglosser to prep. She painted on one coat of Kilz primer, two coats of Behr Oatmeal Porridge, and one coat of Ralph Lauren Glaze in Tobacco.

This hutch/dresser was sanded down then primed with one coat of Kilz.  Then she painted on two coats of Behr Powdered Snow. She distressed the edges and detail and then painted on one coat of Ralph Lauren Glaze in Tea-Stained. Then she added new knobs and lined the drawers with modge podge and scrapbook paper.

Polished Pearl and Ugly Nightstand

She  painted the frame of her old, worn out buffet with Behr Polished Pearl in Semi-gloss and gave the drawers a coat of Furniture Restore. Then she cleaned and dry brushed the hardware with silver leaf Rub ‘N Buff and it looks like a whole new piece!  Stunning!

She found an ugly nightstand for $10 gave it a make-over! She used her DIY Chalk Paint recipe to give it a coat of blue and white. Then she distressed it and added a cute glass knob.  Super cuteness.
