Herringbone Wood Ceiling

She used 100 year old reclaimed wood (douglas fir) and sanded, stained and painted with milk paint to create this AMAZING herringbone pattern on a vaulted ceiling. I’m in awe!

Chalk Paint Farmhouse Chair

She painted the chair with DIY Chalk Paint made with a sample Duron paint sample and non-sanded grout with water. Then she used Minwax Antique Walnut Stain and wiped it on and off quickly.  She finished with a clear wax.

Smokey Mountain Parlor Table

She took a vintage, mahogany parlor table with an inlaid wood top. She sanded and stained the top and she painted the base with CeCe Caldwell’s Smoky Mountain. Gorgeous color combo!

Damask Table

She painted the legs with homemade chalk paint. She applied Annie Sloan dark wax to the table top and the screwed it back onto the legs. She created the large damask stencil with her Silhouette and applied the damask design randomly across the table top using black artist acrylic paint. Once it dried she sanded it slightly then applied another coat of Annie Sloan dark wax.  Love the large damask stencil!

Vanity turned TV Stand

She took an old vanity and converted into a TV stand (such a cool idea). It was painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old White and the top was stained with Minwax Jacobean wood stain.

Apple Green Dresser

She stripped the paint from the top and drawer fronts using Citri Stripper (one of my favorites). Then she stained them a dark walnut. She mixed up a couple of batches of DIY chalk paint and painted the sides and frame of the dresser an apple green. Then she finished the dresser off with a painted swirly design on the drawer fronts and fabric drawer lining to match.  I am crushing on this dresser!

She found a card catalog for only $7! (Yes, I’m a bit jealous) She re-purposed it into a oh-so-cool coffee table. She used Dutch Boy Dura-clean White Oak and Black and re-stained the top.  Love this piece!

Old Dresser Makeover

She updated an old dresser with paint and stain. She used Behr’s Ultra Powdered Snow  and Minwax Wood Finish in Espresso  for the dresser and Rust-oleum Satin in Shell White & Dual Paint + Primer Metallic in Oil Rubbed Bronzed for the hardware.  Such a gorgeous transformation.
