She used glass bowls and candle sticks from the dollar store and transformed them. She used  Krylon Brushed Nickel spray paint, glue and some cute accessories to make these cuties!

Sundries Sign

She made this Vintage Sundries Sign using homemade chalk paint for the white edges and letters and she used acrylic paint for the side letters and edges. She used a Silhouette Cameo and contact paper to stencil the letters. Then  she sanded it all with an electric sander… so cute!

Chalk Painted Railroad Sign

She created a weathered, rustic Railroad Sign using homemade chalk paint made with flat latex paint and Plaster of Paris. She created a stencil on her Silhouette Cameo for the wording  and then added neoprene washers for a more detailed authentic sign look.  So cool!

Painted Christmas Vignette

She painted and distressed the ceiling tile that hangs behind the galvanized flower buckets. The sign above it is actually made from the old brass kick plate that was once on her front door. It has been spray painted and distressed. The garland is made of spray painted pine cones.  Love all the textures and colors… beautiful!

This wooden sign is made from plywood. The wood was painted with Sherwin Williams Off White. The swan was created using contact paper. The background was then spray painted with Valspar Black in Satin finish.

She made a 12 foot long pine chalk board. She painted it using Behr Green Stain and Rust-oleum chalk board paint. Then she hand lettered it using Crayola white chalk. She has it hanging in her studio to reminder her of how she tries to live her life.

They made this beach sign from a repurposed pallet wood. They used leftover paint they had… an interior latex paint for the background, Krylon spray paint for the black lettering and Rust-oleum enamel paint for the yellow lettering.   Love it!

She found a carved wooden vase at a thrift store and made it over into a bold yellow birdbath using Krylon Fusion spray paint and the addition of a small ceramic bowl base and a lovely ceramic bowl water basin.  So cute!

PoP Painted Therapy

She used paint in this project to make the lettering in this sign *pop*. She wanted a fun, bright color, so she used a sample bottle of Martha Stewart’s Sultana. The wood was first stained, then the negative space was painted.  Love this look!

Daena @ Bad Rabbit Vintage submitted her sewing cabinet.

She mixed the 40′s minty green she wanted and dry brushed the cabinet going all directions and making sure wood showed. Then she layered on a thin layer of clear wax and when that was dry she put on the dark wax, making sure to push into the carved detail and any age marks in the wood.
