Shimmery Blue Candlesticks

Welcome Paint Lovers… so for no paint projects last week… it was just one of those week’s with too much on my plate.  So glad to be able to feature your great projects again.

Debbie @ One Day At A Time submitted her beautiful, blue candlesticks.

She started by giving the candlesticks a coat of Zinsser Cover Stain Primer.  Then she created her DIY paint mixing blue & white sample paint,  She finished with Looking Glass Mirror spray paint.

Planked Closet Wall

She used a whitewash technique to make a faux salvaged wood wall for her teen son’s office-in-a-closet.  I want to copy this!

Coffee Table and Damask

Nicole @ Thrifty Decorating submitted her coffee table transformation.

She took a True Value sample can of paint and added Plaster of Paris to make DIY chalk paint for the gray. Then she used Minwax Dark Walnut stain on the top.  Pretty color combo.

Kellie @ The Pauper’s Castle submitted her pretty stenciled nightstand.

She painted the nightstand in CeCe Caldwell’s Blue Montana Sky and the stencil with Memphis Blue. The top was stained with Minwax, Early American.

Cloches and a Back Splash

Debbie at Refresh Restyle turned Dollar Tree baskets into these adorable wired cloches.

Shasta over at In the Old Road submitted her bargain back splash paint makeover.

For only $6 she created this stunning back splash in her kitchen!

What a great example of how a little paint can make a big pop.
