Garage Sale Stool

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Doreen @ Altered Artwork submitted her pretty, blue stool.

Power of Paint

This was her very first painted furniture project. She bought a very beat up step stool from a garage sale and restored it with a Home Depot “oops” paint that she mixed with a little Plaster of Paris. She transferred a beautiful Parisian graphic onto the top. I say she did an awesome job on her first paint project!

Tracy @ Musings on the Pretty submitted her Oversize Lantern.

PoP Soul Style

She scored this humongous light fixture at a charity sale.  With some Rust-oleum Spray Paint she created some more drama with this dramatic piece.

Jessica @ Dear Emmeline submitted her lovely bookcase.

She painted the bookcase with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White & French Linen. To transfer the image she used a fine line Sharpie.  She got amazing details using the sharpie.

Jessica @ Dear Emmeline submitted her cute nesting tables.

She created these adorable custom tables as a wedding present.  The feet of the nesting tables were spray painted with oil-rubbed bronze. She used ASCP Old White and wedding related image transfers (2 from Graphics Fairy and one text) using pencil rubbing technique. What a fabulous gift idea.
