Lisa @ {Create Inspire} submitted her beautiful blue hutch.

She painted the body of the hutch with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg and painted the inside a custom mix of white (Sherwin Williams-ProClassic). She distressed it with a wet rag and finished with Minwax finishing paste.

Turquoise Chalk Paint Dresser

She found this antique dresser at Goodwill. It was un ugly mustard yellow, but she painted over it with a DIY turquoise chalk paint, distressed it to let the yellow show through, and coated it in Annie Sloan clear wax.  So pretty!

Aqua Chalk Paint Dresser

She took a big brown ugly dresser that she found on craiglist and cleaned it up.  She coated it in 3 coats of DIY aqua chalk paint, distressed it and coated it in Annie Sloan’s clear wax.

Black and White French Dresser

She stripped, sanded and stained the top with Minwax Dark Walnut. The chest was painted, distressed and waxed with Annie Sloan Clear and Dark Wax then buffed to create a velvety sheen. So pretty!

Baby Blue Armoire

She painted up this armoire for a client’s nursery. She used her own DIY chalkpaint recipe. The outside is a baby blue color and the drawers inside are ivory. Then she distressed it, glazed it and coated it in AS clear wax. So pretty for a nursery!

Vaseline Distressed Table

She painted it black, then used Vaseline to distress it. Then painted it with a top coat of white, and sanded down.   She finished it off with wax.  Looks great!

Batman in a Petticoat Chair

She got this rocking chair at a yard sale for only a dollar ~ SCORE!  It was ugly and dirty. She cleaned it up, painted it with DIY chalk paint, distressed it and coated it with AS clear wax. So pretty!

She stripped the top, then sanded and stained with Minwax Dark Walnut. The dresser was painted, distressed and waxed with Annie Sloan Clear and Dark Wax then buffed to create a velvety sheen. For an added touch she painted a pattern along the outside of each drawer only visible when drawers are open and used a French Vintage graphic courtesy of The Graphics Fairy.

French Buffet

She transformed this vintage buffet by using ProClassic satin from Sherwin Williams color matched to ASCP French Linen on the body of the piece and ProClassic satin from Sherwin Williams color matched to Cotton Whisper by Behr on the drawer fronts. She heavily distressed the piece using a paint scraper and then using Minwax stain in Early American over the paint to age the piece. The stencil for the french poem is by Royal Design Studio.
