Meesh @ IMeeshu submitted her beautiful Annie Sloan dining set.

She gave an old dining set new life using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.  She used Paris Gray on the table and most of the chairs.  She added a touch of Duck Egg on the table’s edge and painted the two end chairs with them as well.

Chalk Paint Farmhouse Chair

Debbie @ One Day at a Time submitted her beautiful chalk painted chair.

She painted the chair with DIY Chalk Paint made with a sample Duron paint sample and non-sanded grout with water. Then she used Minwax Antique Walnut Stain and wiped it on and off quickly.  She finished with a clear wax.

Pink Striped Chalk Painted Chair

She made some DIY Chalk Paint using a Duron red sample mixed with a white sample paint + non-sanded grout & water. She finished the entire piece with 4 coats of Polyacrylic.

Cherry Dining Set

She took an old worn out table and chair set and turned it into a vintage farm fresh dining set.  She painted it with CeCe Caldwell’s Traverse City Cherry and covered the chairs with gorgeous fabric.

Jamaica Bay Chair

She created some homemade chalk paint with Behr’s ‘Jamaica Bay’ in a satin sheen, water, and plaster of paris, She also reupholstered the seat cushion and gave the whole piece a coat of finishing wax for protection. Gorgeous!

Chalk Painted Rocking Chair

She got this rocking chair at a yard sale for only a dollar ~ SCORE!  It was ugly and dirty. She cleaned it up, painted it with DIY chalk paint, distressed it and coated it with AS clear wax. So pretty!
