She used plain chalkboard paint, silver craft paint and Annie Sloan’s Soft Dark wax to transform her son’s Ikea PS cabinet into an industrial style locker cabinet. She was inspired by the Vintage Industrial Steel Cabinet from Restoration Hardware. The finishing details are the faux rivet on the corners.  Such a cool piece!

Kim @ Tiaras and Bowties submitted her cute banner.

Power of Paint

This sweet custom painted baby bunting/pennant banner was painted to mimic the designs on a little boy’s layette. The sweet soft grey elephant and coordinating plaid and circular motif create a beautiful one of a kind decoration that can be used for the baby shower then later be placed over baby’s crib! She painted it on canvas using acrylic paints and stung it on ribbon.

Whimsical Garden Balls

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Denise @ Spittin Toad submitted her whimsical garden art.

Power of Paint

She spray painted bowling balls with Krylon’s Dual Paint to turn them into Garden balls…2 of them she painted white and then decorated them…one with a sharpie and the other with acrylic paint. The 3rd one she cut out laminate flowers and then stuck them to the ball before spray painting it. Then she peeled off the flowers to show the original color of the ball.  So fun and whimsical.
