Painted Runner

Welcome Paint Lovers…

Debbie @ Painted Therapy submitted her charming paint stairs.

Power of Paint

She needed to re-do her stairs and decided to paint a “runner” on instead of buying one. First she coated it with used primer. For the paint, she used Behr’s low-lustre enamel porch and patio floor paint. She also used an additive in the paint to make the treads less slippery. You have to check out the before on her site… it’s quite a transformation!

As always you can click on the photos to get all the juicy details.

Don’t forget… you too can submit your paint projects. Just click the “Submit Your Paint Project” in the menu bar and fill out the form.

Have a great day with a splash of paint!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my stairs! They are not hard to do and leave a big impact!

  2. I love Debbie’s staircase! I’ve seen painted runners before, but this is the first one I’ve seen with the extra detailing along each side of the “runner”. It really finishes off the look nicely :-) Great job, Debbie!
