Meg @ Meg and the Martin Men submitted her striped powder room.
After living with a brown color for about 6 months she decided it need a bit more punch. After seeing some striped rooms on Pinterest she decided to give it a shot with some left over white paint from a prior project. She taped off thick horizontal sections and added 2 coats of paint. For some more punch she spray painting a boring navy mirror a bright blue.

Her goal was to transform it into a French Provincial look, so she used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Provence and dark wax. She changed out the old hardware for crystal knobs to dress it up.

Oh wow, the blue mirror makes such a statement on that wall full of stripes. Love it.
And, the dresser makeover is so pretty. Great to have something so full of memories too =)
